These Providers are very experienced in providing care for people with a learning disability and older people. They live in Torquay and are very close to local amenities such as the harbour, beach, shops, theatre and restaurants. There are also churches, libraries and a museum, the area is lively with frequent community events.

The providers live with their 18 year old son and they have frequent visits from their older children and  two young grandchildren. The house has a really warm welcoming atmosphere and it is situated in a cul-de-sac which is quiet however it is up quite a steep hill. Indoors it is spacious with both upstairs and downstairs bedrooms which are all en suite.
There is also a large flat garden with decking, an aviary and a vegetable patch. They have a spaniel dog.

This female provider lives in a large detached chalet bungalow with panoramic views over Torbay and beyond.

The service user would have a double bedroom on ground floor with bath room adjacent.  The bedroom has a double bed, range of fitted wardrobes, chest of drawers and a hand wash basin.  There is also a lounge and sun lounge opposite the bedroom which a Service User could use as their own if they wished.

The bungalow is in the Barton area of Torquay 2 ½ miles from the town centre, it is on a busy main road and is 100m away from the bus stop with regular buses to St Marychurch, Torquay town and Brixham.

This female provider has a vast amount of experience of working with older service users and can provide for people with learning disabilities.

This provider has a Dalmatian dog. He is a lively character but is separated from the main living space in the house.

This provider lives with her husband and son, and is close to her daughter (and baby) who visit regularly. They have 2 dogs, 2 cats and budgies that are all close to their hearts and a big part of family life.

A newly approved provider, this lady has over 38 years of experience in the caring field, initially training as a nurse and thereafter working with a diverse group of individuals from those with learning disabilities, the elderly, young people, those classed as high risk groups, those receiving intense rehabilitation and end of life patients. 

This provider is keen to use her vast amounts of experience, skills and if possible share some of her hobbies and interests to enhance a service user’s quality of life, offering either short term or long term placements.  The provider and her partner like to go for walks, enjoy the sea, and hobbies include cooking, gardening, painting, mosaics and renovation.

The property is located in Paignton, a mid terraced 1830’s building, located in a quiet cul-de-sac, opposite a church and within walking distance to the town centre.  The accommodation offers a unique flavour of old and new classic styles, with a relaxing ambiance and spacious rooms. There is a downstairs wet room and a beautifully quiet and enclosed garden with shrubs, herbs and plants of many varieties.

There are short break and long term break spaces available for an older person, or an older person with dementia or mental health problems, and individuals with learning disabilities or mental health problems.
