| Details |
A Provider who lives with his various pets in a characterful cottage in a village near Newton Poppleford, a few miles west of Sidmouth, near Bicton College, has just been approved at the end of February.
The cottage is a traditional detached older property on two floors, with two receptions on the ground floor (main one has real fire with guard, and two parrots and an aquarium) and bathroom and bedrooms upstairs.
The cottage is surrounded by mature gardens, with ponds (which can be covered if necessary).
This Provider trained as a nurse, but has worked in various different care settings over many years since then. He enjoyed particularly supporting people with learning disabilities to use skills and enjoy better quality of life. He is a quiet, balanced, but warm person. He would like to share his home with someone who would appreciate this. His partner often works away in residential care too.
Time at home with the pets (3 dogs, 2 parrots, some chickens and a goose) is enjoyed, but so is time spent walking the dogs, getting involved in various village activities, and gardening. The Provider also enjoys cooking.
The Provider drives a Land Rover, but buses also run through the village, to Exeter, Exmouth etc.)
