The National Association of Adult Placement Services (NAAPS) is a UK charity that was established in 1992 to represent the interests of all those involved in Adult Placement (AP) and to promote high standards of practice. Membership is open to all those involved in adult placement – AP Scheme managers and workers, AP Carers and the people using AP services.

Jane Bell, Chief Executive of SWAPS is also currently chair of the South West branch and also a member of the NAAPS England Committee.
The South West branch covers the areas of Gloucestershire, Somerset, Bath, Swindon, Dorset, Bristol, Bournemouth and Poole and meets 4 times a year. The branch is lively and informative and is well placed to support and represent NAAPS adult placement carer members, workers and schemes across the region. The branch also hosts training sessions for workers and carers and invites guests to speak at meetings.
