What is Shared Lives | Print |  E-mail

Shared Lives is an alternative and highly flexible form of accommodation and/or care and support provided by ordinary individuals or families in the local community.

Shared Lives providers have to be registered with an adult placement scheme.  The scheme has to be registered with Care Quality Commission and meet the National Minimum standards for Adult Placement Regulation (England) 2004.
