All providers are required to meet agreed standards of care set down by SWAPS and will be regularly visited and monitored in compliance with the National Minimum Standards for Adult Placement Schemes.Shared Lives providers will be able to access training and support through SWAPS to ensure they meet the care and support needs of the service user living with them.
"The assessment is in depth and explains my experiences and skills well. I found the assessor very helpful in areas I have not understood and the safeguarding adults training day very informative."
