What sort of support and care do service users need? | Print |  E-mail

It will vary incredibly.

Some service users have quite complex needs and will need a lot of support whilst others might be very independant.  The key task is to help the service user develop their confidence and social skills, to help them communicate and be understood, to support them with friends and family and to make sure that they get to do the things they would really like to do, both in the home and by accessing the local community.

In short helping them to live life to the full, as independently as possible.
