How are placement fees paid?

Placement fees are paid to the provider from two sources – the service user and SWAPS. If a service user receives housing benefit, this may be paid direct to the provider as part of the service user’s contribution. SWAPS tops up the service user’s contribution up to the agreed placement fee.
